5.1 Forwarding to Third Parties
We may forward your information to a third party within the KCC Group to resolve the enquiry, task or complaint that you have raised with us if we are not the direct point of resolution (e.g. KCC-related Compliance and Facilities Management or Estates Management or Project Management queries)
If you wish for us to not forward your information or query details on, it may impact our ability to assist you with any open enquiries you have with us where the third party relies on this information for resolution. We only disclose personal information that is necessary for them to provide the service that they are undertaking on our behalf.

We may use and process your personal information as set out below where it is necessary for us to carry out activities for which it is in our legitimate interests as a business to do so.
Processing necessary for us to respond to understanding customers’ needs and requirements
- To respond to any correspondence you send to us and fulfil the requests you make to us (for example: ownership enquiries, lease and rent enquiries, consultations);
- To provide property support and services (for example maintenance and facilities services);

5.4 Vital Interest
Sometimes we will need to process your personal information to contact you if there is an urgent safety concern relating to a property under our control and we need to tell you about it.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are required to provide you with the lawful basis under which we are processing your data.

By contacting us you are consenting to the processing of your personal data and as such consent is the legal basis being utilised. If you contact us via email, letter or our contact form your information may be held for a longer period of time.
6.0 Engaging our Services and Working with Gen2
By engaging the services of Gen², you will be asked to give us personal information including your name, company name, email address, job title, phone number, account details and any other relevant information. We require this information to provide our service, and as such contract is the legal basis for processing any information. If we are required to share information with agencies such as HMRC during the course of our engagement or afterwards, legal obligation is also the legal basis for processing any information. We will use your data to send you relevant information about the services you have requested. Depending on the nature of the contract between us we will keep this data up to a maximum of 6 years after the services have been provided.

- Carry out our obligations arising from any agreements entered into between you and us, or our mutual client, and to provide you with the information, products and services that are requested;
